COMPUTER SYSTEM
A computer system is defined as combination of components designed to process data and store files. A computer system consists of:
- input devices
- output devices
- processor
- storage devices
COMPUTER HARDWARE
Input devices
An input device is any hardware device that sends data to the computer, without any input devices, a computer would only be a display device and not allow users to interact with it.
Examples of input devices:

It allows the processing of numeric data, meaning information entered in binary form, and the execution of instructions stored in memory.

An output device is any peripheral device that converts machine-readable information into people-readable form such as a monitor, printer, plotter and voice output device.

Storage devices
A storage device is a hardware device capable of holding information. There are two storage devices used in computers; a primary storage device such as computer RAM and a secondary storage device such as a computer harddrive. The secondary storage could be a removable, internal, or external storage.

Peripheral devices
A peripheral is a device that is connected to a host computer, but not part of it. It is often, but not always partially or completely dependent on the host.
